Secondary School Assembly - National Apology Day

On Tuesday the 13th of February is National Apology Day. This day is a significant event in Australia鈥檚 journey towards reconciliation and healing. To commemorate this event there will be an online school assembly on Wednesday at 11:20am and as a community, we will be able to share. A link will be shared to students from their Care Group teachers.
National Apology Day serves as a time to recognize and acknowledge the historical mistreatment of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Peoples who were forcibly removed from their families and communities. Recognizing this day provides an opportunity for reflection, understanding, and a path to unity. By sharing in this together we generate hope for an inclusive future for all our students and work towards healing historical wounds.
