This module explores the strategic leadership and management of occupational health services. You will examine leadership approaches, organisational governance, legislation, quality improvement, performance management, teamwork, and change management, developing the knowledge and skills to lead effective, sustainable, and high-quality occupational health service delivery.听

Learning Methods

This module is delivered online via our Virtual Learning Environment Moodle.

Through online learning activities and practical workplace scenarios, you will develop advanced knowledge and skills to lead service improvement, influence strategic decision-making, and drive the delivery of high-quality, evidence-informed occupational health services.

Tutorials - 20 students per group, 20 hours per semester
Independent Study - 280 hours per semester

Students can choose the method of assessment via either a written assessment or an oral assessment and/or presentation.

Standard Entry Requirements

The minimum entry requirement for this programme will normally be a suitable qualification as a registered health professional in a relevant topic and working in Occupational Health.

Applicants whose first language is not English should have an IELTS of 7.0 overall, with no component lower than 6.5, or an equivalent, per the Academic Academic Regulation A2: Admission and Enrolment.
