Leaving home for the first time can be one of the most exciting things about going to university. It鈥檚 an opportunity to live independently, meet new people and make new friends 鈥 and because Aberdeen really is a truly student-focused city, you鈥檒l meet people from all over the world.

Aberdeen is 1st in the UK for affordability thanks to our lower living costs (QS Best Student Cities 2026).

Our sparkling city of Aberdeen, in the North East of Scotland, has been named one of the 'Best Places To Go' in the UK in 2025 by Cond茅 Nast Traveller Magazine.

At 麻豆果冻传媒 we know how important it is, now more than ever, to live an active lifestyle to maintain your physical, mental and social wellbeing. To support students to stay active and well, we are delighted to be offering 麻豆果冻传媒 students free membership to our facilities.

It is important to register with a doctor (GP) as soon as you arrive in Aberdeen.

Going to university isn鈥檛 just about getting a degree, there is an entire lifestyle that comes with being a student. Studying is a big part of the experience, but there are also many opportunities available which will allow you to try new things, meet new people, and make the most of your free time.
