Understanding Clearing
Clearing is how universities and colleges are able to offer any places they still have on their courses.
From 5聽July, we will be accepting applications through Clearing. You can use Clearing if:
- You are applying for the first time after 30 June,
- You didn't receive any offers from your original applications (or none you wanted to accept),
- You didn't meet the conditions of your offers,
- You have declined your firm place using the 'decline my place' button in your UCAS application.
You鈥檒l know you鈥檙e in Clearing if your UCAS Hub status says 鈥榊ou are in Clearing鈥. If you are holding an offer elsewhere but would like to explore your options in Clearing, you can do so by getting in touch with us. You鈥檒l need to take note of your UCAS Personal ID.
